Helen e nebeker essay

Helen E. Nebeker was a Professor of English at Arizona State University, teaching from 1957 to 1988, and serving as Associate Department Chair the last eight years before her retirement. Specializing in contemporary British and American literature, her articles were published in numerous juried journals on the works of James Joyce, Katherine Mansfield, Shirley Jackson, William Faulkner, Mark Twain, Matthew Arnold, and also included a book length study of the five novels of acclaimed British writer, Jean Rhys, now in its second edition. Her own autobiographical memoir, Bittersweet: A Candid Love Story, sells internationally.
